Talking Fuel Injector Cleaner

Ok, I know there are TONS of posts about which to use etc, but I found one thats a "Complete Fuel Treatment" & based on the 20 or so miles I've had it in the tank, I'm sold!
It's Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant with Injector Cleaners. After replacing the rotor & distributor cap (BMD brand) & Bosch Platinum plugs & OE Replacement Bosch wires (cap, rotor, wires & plugs were all original with 53,000 miles) the blazer still wasn't 'up to snuff' in my view. So I added a bottle of the Lucas. WOW, what a difference, smoother acceleration, calmer idle, more power & the gas needle doesn't race to 'The Big E' as fast lol. Word of caution though... add this with a funnel because it's thick, surprisingly so, & the angle of the gas tank filler neck to the body makes it a PITA to empty properly not to mention that filler flap in the neck under the gas cap. Then wash the funnel into the truck with some gas so it all goes in & mixes. I'm betting a lot of people will see improvements.

Glad you liked it. I have used it and still prefer Chevron Techron fuel system treatment plus.

where it seems more appropriate.

I'll see if I can get some of that Chevron here in Canada.

If lucas has already done the trick at cleaning the system, you likely will not notice much by putting more injector cleaner in.

What I like about the Chevron Techron Fuel System Treatment Plus (must have the plus at the end) is that it has a filmer agent in it which protects the fuel level sending unit grid from buildup.

& that will help the herky jerky Chevy fuel gauge from showing different levels depending on bumps, heavier acceleration/brakings... & hopefully help it last longer. Damn thing is hardly ever at the same level as when I shut it off to when I start it again lol.
