Since my orignal purchase over a year ago for a 4x4, still isn't running I decided to find another. This will become my new daily driver till I finish my 85 project. New truck is an 89 Jimmy, 2 dr, 4x4, silver/blue, 4.3 auto. Pretty decent shape overall. Little bit of work here and there is all I plan on for it. Mainly for camping (since I only went once last year, which was down from my usual every weekend or other weekend in previous years). Going to pick it up Sat, providing the guy decides to still sell it. Will post pics then. Anyone want to buy an 86 tbird, hah.

Thanks, it's decent for the year, hard to find much better around here. I plan on powder coating the stock wheels, bumpers, a silver. Put in some tunes, and clean it up a little. It's just so I can drive to the camping spots this summer. After I am done with my other blazer project the g/f gets this one.

minor rust, small dings, but overall... not bad!

 

Yeah he recently replaced the rear glass, and took it off to prevent it from happening again. I would like to put it back on if I can make sure that it won't cause anymore damage. Yup typical rust/dents etc. It's one of the better/best body condition trucks that I have been able to find around here. I'm going to try and polish it and wax it too see if I can make it shine a little more. I'll also be putting on some of those stock black plastic flares that I had from my other truck.

 

At least Rustoleum prime that rust before it spreads to looking like that van behind it!
