going to buy a blazer and.... uh what?
Are they low on tread, or do you just want another style? If it were me, i'd be shopping for floor mats and a nice double din deck w/ navi and a DVD player. It's definately nice and clean, glad you got it fixed and paid a good price for it.
I got 4 set of floor mats from my cuz he had blazer floor mats still new in the shop. And the tires are low and dryrooted sooo yeah i need new ones. Plus he gave me a set of new ZR2 rims im going to put the tires on.
Ok, color me stupid, what are ZR2 rims ? Every ZR2 I've seen has the same rims as my bone-stock '03 but with 31's. Someone is telling you tall tales.... (although, I really dig my stock rims)
b back l8er, bro, :-)

i know after buying my '98, i'll never buy another low mileage vehicle again for a DD. mine was 78% of the yearly average mileage, and it hasn't been what i had hoped it to be.
that's because your truck probably has the single wire O2. a third of the cost for the 1 st gen "heated" ones.
i'm a precision grinder, been laid-off for almost 5 months now, and never in my 20 year career have i even come close to that. i'm not telling you what i make, but it's well over $20/hr, and working 60 hrs in a week won't even get me 70% of that. what the hell do you do for your money?
maybe the older ones, i wouldn't say that about the 95+ engines.
It's 260 bucks for a GM Delco sensor, they have a heating element built in so it runs properly at first start up. The one you're looking at was 20 bucks for a reason.
he owns a 1st gen Pat. and if it's a single wire, that'd be right. as to your Delco price, is that @ the dealer? guess you'd be pissed that i only paid $61.68 for an O2 in Feb of this year.
i'd go with the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71's. they're great for pretty much everything.
to start out im talking about the rims that came off a ZR2 if those are stock 03 rims then yeah i got a set of stock 03 rims.
So far everything has been great. Its kinda low on power but im running injector cleaner this tank and everything on the computer came out fine so i know the engine is running right just needs a good cleaning. now it has a new computer i just put in with all the updates so ill have to check it in the spring and see how everything is working.
mine has the 4 wire o2's and i think the dealer price i got them for was 39.99 something like that... maybe 36.84l; ill have to check.
i dont really wanna tell but im 24 and about 2 years ago i fell into this company after college doing some design work and then they sent me to CT to a power station for 6 months and when i came back they had an opening in nuclear power plant design so i took it. But really it took a ton of hard work and late nights and im not bragging; and most weeks i work 70+ hours so thats another reason my checks are higher.
think those are better then the BF Goodrich All Terrain KO?
another question i couldn't find much info on was, with 70k on the clock is there anything on the engine you would change? like spark plugs, spider units, mass air flow sensor, I just put a new battery in it and im planning on changing out the oil lines and the lower intake gasket in the spring.

Must be nice to be able to say that 2600$ is a pay cheque.

1. that comment was towards mr5james. even still, you're saying a brand new AC Delco O2 is only $40, @ the dealer? that's really cheap.
2. even working 70 hours, my gross would be just over 2 grand, and that's Canadian, hahahaha! i'm not trying to knock ya, or saying i don't beleive you, but why the hell are you messing with a 10 year old truck, and knocking down his price?
3. definately. BFG's and GoodYear's have way too hard of a compound.
4. with the truck being 10 years old, and only having 70000 miles, you should be looking at doing a complete tune-up, change all the filter's-including the fuel (so many people over look that one), change all the vital fluid's (engine, trans & diff's).
why are you changing the oil lines, do they leak? as for the lower intake gaskets, i know these can be a problem on most 4.3's, and preventive maintenance is a good thing, but i think you're just looking for extra work. leave it alone if it's running good now.

The oil line do leak... kinda bad-ish. and as far as the intake i have the gasket set for it so i thought why not give me something to do.
1. no i was getting my parts at dealer cost since i was working on it at the chevy dealership.
2. because i really wanted a 2 door blazer, i have a 07 focus ZX3, ducati SS800, and a cbr 1000. just wanted something to drive to work and have fun with and i wanted a SUV since i fly RC planes and those large ones are hard to put in a focus. I really like working on cars and bikes. its really a passion for me!
3. i was thinking that but i also dont want them to wear really fast either. would like to see some miles on them.
4. Right now it just has the oil changed, tranny flush, and a new air filter. o and theres a new tranny cooler installed.

1. that's still cheap. you must be in pretty tight with the parts manager to get cost, flat. i've been friend's with the Service Manager @ one of the dealers nearby, since the 8th grade, and i still have to pay cost + 10.
2. the ZX3 is the coupe, right? a friend of mine has a Focus wagon, says it's the best thing he's ever used to haul his planes.
3. how many miles are you looking for? i run Michelin LTX M/S on all of my street trucks (ie: pavement only), and get 80K before i get rid of them (that's be 50K for you). the longer a tire lasts, the harder it's gonna be, and the more likely that it'll wanna slip while driving (hard braking, evasive manoeuver, hard launch).
4. make sure to get the rest done too.
5. you have waaaay too much time on your hands brother, way too much time.
