Got me a set of chrome nerf bars from the Chevy guys but, before I fit them I've taken them to the powder coaters - & guess what colour? you got it - gloss black. Should be ready early next week, but now that I'll be working in the city from Monday I'll have to wait till next Saturday to collect them. If he's open. (sometimes he does, sometimes he does not. Depends if the fishing is good or not).

Yea, can't wait to see it fitted. At the powder coaters they had some 3" square tubing that had been painted black & I held it in alongside the doors. As near a perfect match as you can get! Great!

Got them back. in BLACK!

I tried twice to get under the truck to fit them but both time it started to rain. Then I had to move as I was hogging the driveway. So it'll have to wait till weekend.

QUESTION: I started to undo the bolt on the body mount behind the front wheel.
When I got it loose it started to turn freely??? I know it's like a cup under the chassis but there seems no way of getting a spanner inside. It turns till it hits the side so I can get it off but IF SO, how do I fit the new bolt?
Is it hit & miss to get the thread to line up for the bolt?
Is there is a loose threaded plate in the chassis that the bolt goes into?

HELP Pleeeeeeeze!
