I need something to make my grill area stand out. Im not sure if i should paint the chrome piece black, or what.

anybody have any ides to make it cooler?

I would paint the grille...

get the paint code and go to autozone/advance and find a paint can to match

If you do paint the chrome piece. Try and sand it down and make it rough so the paint has something to stick to. It wasn't done for mine and now its chipping off.

how much should i sand it down? im not a pro on this painting stuff =/

Give it a good nice dull surface, don't use a grain that will scratch. I'm sure someone knows what grain to use, but I would use around 800-400, something fine... but not too fine. If you can try and make it so there are no more shiny parts then that's ideal. Its the same when it comes to painting a car. I wet sand everything I plan to paint, but its up to you.

If you want me to, I can show you what it should look like before you paint. I can sand some of mine down for ya, well tomorrow that is lol.
