Default Half way through the 3" body lift (PICS)

So I started the 3" BL today and tried to snap a few pics along the way. I'm about half way through. I got the blocks in just before ran out of light!

Looking good. Didn't know you could get a 3" BL for the 2nd gens. You going with bigger tires than pictured or sticking with them for a while?

Actually they don't make 3" BLs for 2nd gens, I just have a spare 1st gen BL kit and I'm swappin parts...lol. Hopefully I don't run into any trouble. Ive seen it done before. I'm not planing on getting bigger tires right now...but if i find a good deal maybe. haha.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out. Have you had any problems yet?

Make sure you do the fuel vent and filler line BEFORE you put the rear bumper back up. Instructions tell you to mount the bumper first but much easier to do it after. I put a 2" BL on mine yesterday and it went pretty easy with the fuel lines being the most PITA.

uhh, my jimmy had all the lines mounted to the frame....All the instructions said was to remove the bolt which mounted the fuel line to the cab, but it wasnt even connected in the first place. It didnt even say anything about extending lines...

I am talking about for the tank itself, not the fuel lines running to/from the engine. The fill and vent lines need to be extended and your kit should have come with the hoses to do it.
