Half way through the 3" body lift (PICS)
It should work, but it would have to be kind of custom like this tay's. They only come in 2 inch kits so you would have to get pucks from a 1st gen and swap them with the 2inch ones. With the 95-97 second gen's you dont have to extend the fuel filler neck line so you would only have to worry about lines, cables and other misc. things that come up with the 2inch kit.

Ok, Well to start off, we have the older second gen blazers (95-97). And for any second gen blazer (95+) they body lift kits only come in 2 inch kits. So to make it a 3 inch kit like what taymacjack, you would have to get 3 inch pucks from a first gen 3 inch body lift kit. I was just saying be careful of making it the 3 inch kit because you would have to give even more clearance for wires and other stuff you have to watch out when you lift the body up just 2 inches let alone adding an additional inch to that. Another thing would be for body lifting the older second gens, we dont have to cut and lengthen the fuel filler hose, but on the 98+ blazers you do. Hope that is more clear. And one last thing, to quote someone just hit the "quote" button in between the "reply" and the "forward" buttons at the topright of the choosen post.
No...a 3' kit will give you the lift blocks you need. Then you have to do the work yourself to relocate the rear bumper. Also you will need to go to Lowes and buy some oil-safe hose (or whatever hose you need to run gas) so you can extend the fuel filler neck.
You might also need to make an oil filter drop bracket...not sure if the 1st gen kit comes with one or not..

hey quick question. my friend just ordered a 3in BL for his 92 sonoma. Does he have to take the bumpers of if hes not planning on relocating them. He is turning it into a trail truck so it doesnt matter what it looks like. Thanks
with the bumpers on it'll be a tad more tricky to place the rear most lift blocks...but I would imagine he's ok on a 1st gen. Is it that hard to take the bumpers off though? Seems much easier to just pop the screws out and go.
