Default headlight question

I just put my new chrome front clip on, and put the headlights back on but there is like a 1 inch gap between the bottom of theheadlight and the "grille shell" is this right? it looks awkward, what did i do wrong?

Take your grille off, and then check the mount clips behind the headlights just to make sure they are in the mounting slots. It has happened to me before.

It happened to me too. Those mount clips are a pain if they're not exactly right, and you probably notice that your headlights are way out of alignment.

It's a lot easier to put the headlights in with the grill out, and since the grill is so easy to take out...

Though, I seem to manage fairly well... I somehow manage to get my lights in without taking the grill off... It's a PITA but it can be done...
