HELP HELP HELP
I have read EVERY POST ABOUT A/C. and i still need some help. my system is at 0 psi. there is no nothing in my system. the freeon was removed but the system is still sealed. my compressor does not come when i turn on the air with max cold and fan,it is still hot. any help would be nice. i know i need to recharge it but i read that to recharge it the compressor has to pull it in. so i need help. please dont redirect me to other posts. i read all of them and the one thing they all had in commen was that they all shad some "psi" in there system, i have none. thanks.
if you get this far, i read that the compressor has to run to recharg it but if i get one that puts some psi in the system i think the compressor will turn on by its self and i wont have to jump it . please tell me if that is right
BTW i live in AL. the deep south it is always hat and humid. i realy need an A/C
thanks thanks thanks

RE: HELP HELP HELP
what 0 psi says to me (just hypothisizing) but it sounds like your clutch in the compressor is not engaging..........i have only dealt with my dads 89 ford ranger's compressor (it kept eating belts for breakfast) and we disingaged the clutch......idk i'm not an A/C guru
but thats my only clue as to no psi

RE: HELP HELP HELP
How do you know if the compressor is coming on or not? Also the refridgerant contains compressor oil, so if you've tried running it a bunch with no refridgerant, you could have seized up the compressor...
I'd try a recharge first...then go from there.
