Ohhh it whines! like my truck is supercharged...but its lasted 2 months, no problems yet (knock on wood)

that is what i thought you meant by core but that will bolt right up and how many amps does that push cuz i work at an auto parts store and it would be easier and *cheaper* to get one that will bolt in and i just have to change the pulley

Well the core fits fine. Its just getting the belt to fit. Do the math on how many amps to watts your pushing.

i dont know why but when i set up my subi tried to use a multi meter to figure out where to set the amp and i couldnt get a reading so i couldnt tell you i would have to say around 800 watts which would be how many amps??

and im guessing that the 5.7l is gm and what year cuz i might go with that

and just put the pully that is on my alt now on there

12 watts/12 volts = 1 amp

LOL There is really no "Year" it just matters what is the core and i would say the year of the engines would be 99 +

There is Mean Green, High Output Alts 563-323-7994, Excessive Amperage,Ohio Gen, DB electrical, be prepared to get what you pay for.

yea i was going to do mean green but very expensive....i think i might go with the one fromt he 5.7 or the iraggi
