Wasn't sure where to post this, i apologize if its in the wrong spot...
Will a trailer hitch from any other year fit my 98 blazer? Are they all pretty much universal from 98+ ?
Thanks!

Only thing i've noticed is that some models of hitch say for 2wd only. I'm not entirely sure why. Just be cautious of name brand, because Hidden Hitch is by far not hidden..lol

ok, so different years should work, just maybe not 2wd?
Thanks!
Thanks!

yeah i would get a trailer hitch for a 98+ and make sure that it fits your 4x4 4door. One that looks like it is a little more hidden (stock looking) is the reese brand hitch. The hidden hitch is not really hidden and with that big ole sticker on there it really isnt.

i find the sticker very ironic...

you can see the sticker on the left... and OMG!!!! an unblurred plate #!!!!I HOPE NOONE HUNTS ME DOWN!!!! lmao

That's wild...that hole right there is how I would drop my spare tire...crazy 2-doors
I'm in the process of splicing in a solid adapter like that so I have a 7-pin hook up for neighbor's big construction trailer I can hault furniture with, and keep the 4-pin for my jetski trailer!
Was that plug you have factory?

Nope... I had to convince my bumper that it wanted the plug in it
Doesn't move, either, even though it's not bolted in...
Gotta give it a little bit of a twist for it to come out...
When I figure out where I'm going to run the wire, I'll be hooking up power to it.
For those with the trailer brake package, what guage is the wiring for the brakes? I'll just run the wire at the same time I do the power...
Also, the bumper is pretty easy to cut through, lol.
