Cool Hood Light? Or not?

So lately I've been working on my truck, doing the occasional cleaning and I've recently noticed I have no light in my engine on the hood. Do you guys have a light up there? It's just a small oddity I recently noticed.

I had one, but it sucked. So I replaced it with a 3w led bar.

Hey that looks awesome!

I've been looking at wiring something into the system, but I was hoping there was a factory spot for mine, I just can't find anything.
I might order an LED light soon for it. I really like how well your engine bay is lit up

I like that a lot! I'm going to have to do something like that.

Here is the led I used. I used some thermal glue to glue it to the hood in a flat spot.

Any idea as to where I should wire it in as I can't seem to find a hood light?

I would just wire it to the batt. with an easy to find switch. If you can find a stock hood light that would work the best, but you can get creative.

I was thinking something along those lines. I will definitely post up here when I come up with a solution!
I'm thinking since it'll be custom, why not a few led lights, like front back and maybe sides to really help me see better. I'll be sure to let you guys know
