I saw tonight listed on Motor Trend channel the TV show Hot Rod Garage.Season 6 / Episode 3 titled S-10 Total Transformation : Low Budget High School Hot Rod. Long Title and I didn't get to see it. I am sure it will be shown again. I wonder if it will be a V8 swap or a V6 build up?

 

They showed the one hour program again at 1200 Eastern. I got to watch it and was disappointed. The two door regular cab had a 2.5 L 4 cyl with 5 speed manual. Front disc and rear drums. The theme of the show was to do a low budget fix up for a high school kid. That means lower it to the ground.at the least expense. They replaced the clutch with a high performance pkg. and re did the front and rear brakes. Then they lowered the front and rear with lower spindles in front and lowering blocks in the rear. Next they added new shorter shocks. Then they added Summit anti-sway bars front and rear. That was it. I was hoping for 4.3 L increased power and performance info.
