2000 4dr LT 310000 + miles original drive train rear wiper quit, sunroof tracks worn, rockers starting to rust, but I don't care. I gave $700 for it at auction 4 yrs ago. Runs & drives great every day! Love the heated seats!

my 1990 silverado has 218,xxx on it. i got it around 172 and the truck has virtually been trouble free. never left me stranded anywhere for the 5 or 6 years ive owned it. of course ive had to do brakes, tune up, belts, etc random stuff that wears out on any car.
biggest repair i had to do lately was due to rust, one of the exhaust pipes at the manifold rotted so thin it cracked so had to replace the entire y-pipe and manifold as there was nothing left of either of them
ive had tremendous luck with older chevys my whole life. only had one towed once and only cause it broke down on the highway and didnt want to fix it on the shoulder
