After my wife got T-Boned in an intersection by a 19 year old girl on her cellphone and no insurance, she took the HHR that I was stuck with and I bought this very straight, but not too bad '92 Tahoe 4DR from a co-worker's son for $700 cash. Usual stuff; 4.3L, TBI, Lots of the power options from '92...Little issues like front windows don't work, stuff like that, but I'm driving it daily to work and such...Fixing as time and money permit. Glad to have a Blazer again!

We got it after an accident in my moms Nissan Pathfinder, the insurance totalled it out, so my grandma had bought the blazer (incidently we bought the pathfinder from her as well) i think it was when i was 8 or 9 so we bought it about '01 or '02, they bought it for blue book value from their on. she's chewed up two trannys, one the cruise control went out, and the second a wire caused the computer to haywire throwing overdrive out of wack and tko'd 4 - 6th gear, i payed 2 grand for it from themk about two years ago, and dropped one grand so far in parts and such into it (not counting the tranny)

My first Jimmy was an '89 4x4 that I paid 200 dollars for. But a couple years later, so many little things had built up in it, and me not knowing what I know now (I had not yet discovered the love of blazerforum.com) decided it best to just trade it in on a new(er) Jimmy. So I paid 16,000 for my 2003 Jimmy, stock. Then in my youthful ignorance decided that paying the payment was overrated. So between legal stuff and whatnot, I ended up paying in the neighborhood of 20,000 dollars for my truck. It's paid for now, and I intend to be buried in it, so that every day I never forget to not do stupid @#%&, and not buy vehicles I can't afford.

I got my 2000 4dr 2wd LT for $13,500 on 13DEC2003. The rig had 38K on it at the time. Seven years later I am at 197,513 miles on the original engine and trans. Can't keep motor mounts in it to save my life... It's been from NC to CA, Back to Virginia, then Indiana up to NY then back to California...I have to say... I've gotten my moneys worth out of it.

I wont list all the blazers/jimmies I've owned but will share the last 2. Second to last is my '89 gmc Gypsy (high end jimmy). Dont remember the mileage when I bought it but it is currently sitting on ~400,000 miles (yes, you read that right, roughly four hundred thousand miles on the clock). Paid $1500 for it. The most recent purchase is my '94 blazer tahoe. 163,000 miles so its just barely broken in. Paid $500 for it and put another $300 in parts (and counting) and its still not driveable so no personal seat time.

Got my 93 for $300 not running. It started and I drove it home but the injector leaked really badly and it wouldnt restart after I shut it off. Ive got about 2 grand into it now and have barely started.

Used to have a 85 V8 S10, that one was about 1800 total.

Had a 90 4runner than I got for $500 that was an awesome truck.

Had a 94 explorer that I got my ex for $1000 that was in nice shape.

Had a 99 Z24 that was bought new for about $18,000 or so, then another $5G in mods, wheels etc...

First car was an 89 turbo sunbird that might have been the fastest car I have ever had, it was $2000 if I remember right. Dad bought it.
