Default How much would you pay for this Blazer?

I posted in the Newbie section, but I just want some opinions on this. How much would you pay for this?

Details:
1993 4x4 GMC Jimmy (everything rebadged to Chevy)
4.3L out of a '96 (60k miles)
Body/Chassis has 295k miles, but no rust on underside
Runs Great
All work done by my girlfriend's father

The bad:
Valve seals leak- smokes on startup
Transfer case leaks a bit- leaves a small spot overnight
Vacuum leak in dash- audible hissing and rough idle

I'm thinking about buying this car from my girlfriend, but she doesn't know how much she wants to ask for it.

$1500. because you would have to do a $1000 or so to it to make it nice and it is still old so you never know. and if the a/c does not work it needs a conversion to r134a and that's $500 so it would be expensive potentially.just the fact that it is old is reason enough not to buy it for more than $1000-1500. but it looks nice. just needs a lot of work

Aftermarket mods really don't add to the value. I'd say 1200-1500. Its 15 years old. Needs a lot work. You say no rust tap all along the body to make sure its metal and not bondo filler. Don't get me wrong its nice on the outside. But as the saying goes what really matters is whats inside. Have you tested the 4x4?

Make sure you have the funds to fix it up as well as buy it or you are going to end up with a very nice looking lawn ornament.

We talked it out, and I'm buying it for $2500. She would go lower, but it's also a bit of a present from me to help her with her new car.

My first move is new tires and fixing the transfer case.

I've searched the local market, and that's about $500 more than the asking price on most ragged out first gens.

The 4x4 works, as does everything else. The body is all metal, no fillers.

Yes, it's crazy. But for some inexplicable reason I...
