Cool I must be completely crazy???

I sat down yesterday to figure out how much money I have in repairs, tires, exhaust mod, & window tint. Then I added the cost I paid for my 1998 Blazer LT 4dr 4x4.
When I finished I called a psychologist & made an appointment for next week. I'm thinking I will most likely be sent to the mental hospital to a lock up ward for the rest of my life. After I tell them I have put a total of $12,000 into it.
To do what I did no sane person would even consider.
So if you guys never hear from me again you can figure I'm in lock up or my wife found all the receipts & has done me in.
$3900 for the Blazer
$900 for tires, tint, exhaust.
the REST on REPAIRS.
Then to add to the insanity we have only owned this for 10 months &13,000 miles.
So if by chance they let crazies run loose & my wife doesn't figure it out I will be driving this until I die. Talk about upside down I'm $10,000 upside down & can never get right side up because I'm too old to live long enough to drive it out. If I was 20 years old maybe by the time I'm my age mid 60s I would of recovered most of my money.
I could of taken a cruise to Brazil & bought a new 2012 Blazer 4x4 & shipped it back for not much more money.
Anyway will one of the mods tell me how I can change my log-in name to STUPID?

Thanks for your support.
Yea there must be some very dedicated Blazer owners because your the only one who responded. Or maybe they are headed to their appointments also & are afraid to admit it. Or their wives have done them in, or cut them off forever.

I have close to that in mine. I've been gather parts for a couple years.
I have a 91 S10 pickup with close to $30,000 in it and a 76 Pro Street Trans Am with $80,000 invested.
I found it's best not to keep track.

Yea but all we have is a clear coat peeling stock Blazer 4x4. With $12,000 invested.
Yes I had to have most of it done by a shop. I'm disabled with no back or knees left. I can't even get up out of a chair after sitting for awhile without the help of my Service Dog.
But, man, steering box, P/S pump, Ball Joints, Shocks, Fuel Pump, Fuel Pressure Reg, Lower Intake Gaskets, Water Pump, Heater Core, Brakes, Pitman Arm, Plugs, Cap, Rotor, Washer Pump, Rear Hatch Actuator, 4x4 Actuator, Rear Door Window Motor, Rt. Front Hub & Bearing, my head is too sore to think of anymore major stuff.
So hopefully we will be able to drive it trouble free for awhile.
Your right, Just pay & forget it.
I have less money in a Suzuki SV650S I bought NEW, & our 99 Dodge QC 2500 4x4, V-10 5sp that I bought about a year & half ago with 72,000 miles on it. This counts the cost of the vehicles & all the maintenance on them.

blazerguy, we will need two rooms in the crazy ward.. that the thing about these blazers, once you paid the purchase price, your all ready
upside down never to see the light of day.. so in my case, i cant sell the vehicle to get out of it with out major loss, so i just start dumping $$$
figuring im going to own this money pit till the day i die, because the day this blazer dies, i have to dump more $$$ just to keep from looseing all I have put in to it, kinda stuck in a never ending circle
