Default I smell gas

I smell gas sometimes when driving. There doesnt appear to be any leaks anywhere. Could it be the EGR? I believe it is a replacement engine. (Jasper maybe? )

Do a leak down fuel pressure test... the EGR from my knowledge does not cause a gas smell when driving, since that has to do with exhaust.

Since you are driving, I would guess FPR (fuel pressure regulator) or spider assembly (injectors) either leaking... even the nut kit (fuel lines going to the spider assembly)

Year, make and model would help out a lot, than we could move it to the correct sub section for you to get a more specific answer.
