I was searching this forum for this help, but can’t find it.
I’m buying a 2004 Blazer Xtreme this coming weekend and before that I would like to know if it an original xtreme model.
If you guys can help me identify or to make sure is an original blazer xtreme, I will much appreciate it.
I’m asking for help, because there are a bunch of regular blazers (LS, LT) out there that they just install the xtreme package and change the rims, then they sell it as blazer xtreme when is not (I guess).
Any tips on how can identify the Xtreme Version?
Thanks in advance.

To look for this open the glove box and there will be a lot of number/letters with 3 characters. Look for one that reads ZQ8

I did alittle searching and ZQ8 is what I found on s10 forum. ZQ8 is the body styling. Like I said I think this is right but I'm not 100% sure.

Looks like an X to me. Even has the ZQ8 wheels. So either someone took a stock 2wd Blazer, lowered it, bought an Xtreme body kit, and bought ZQ8 wheels; or that is a true Xtreme. BTW, those wheels are HIGHLY sought after in the lifted/4wd world so if you get aftermarket rims you can get a decent penny for the ones that are on it now.

Are there any screws/holes on the roof? Xtreme's were the only blazer's I know of that didn't come with the roofrack. A normal blazer would have the holes from where the rack was removed (unless they went to the work of filling them in)
I will agree though, it looks like a real Xtreme to me...
