It's back!
Got my truck back today...
All is good except for a hissing kind of noise that I think is a vacuum leak... Mechanic dude says it's just fuel going through the fuel rails... Which makes no sense since it wasn't there before...
I'm thinking the t-case vacuum switch lines are at fault here... It takes a little while for the hissing to go away when you switch vent modes...
And at 1500 RPM with a load on the engine (typically when vacuum level drops and/or changes) the noise disappears... The guy says if it still does it when I get my oil changed, they'll take another look... but I think I'm probably gonna crawl underneath and check myself...
Any tips from the experts on that?

You hear people badmouth extended warranties, but if you have one when something happens like you had happen, you'll never want to buy a used car again without one. Especially if you buy the car from an authorized dealer since their reputations also ride on the warranty company's performance. Those warranty companies are usually a pretty safe bet.
