Cool K&N Cold Air Intake .... Input ???

I was thinking about getting one of these cold air intakes just for looks and maybe it might help with a wee bit of performance anyways what do you think also anywhere I can find it cheaper than $100 ?

That's not really a "cold air intake" as you would see it today. A CAI would have a tube running to the fender-well or grille area pretty much like the stock air cleaner. What's pictured is an "open element" air cleaner that draws all air around the engine, including hot air. I don't really think that kind of setup is worth $100.

Will you get more noticeable power from either on a TBI truck? Probably not. If you want to make your TBI 4.3 perform check out- TBI CHIPS -besides making custom chips, he has some tips for TBI trucks along with dyno experience from different builds

So I need part # 38-1818 which would be the cleaner 5 1/8" carb and part # 38-1960 which would be the element correct ? and hell for only a total of $38 plus s&h that is way cheaper than $100 thanks a bunch for your help.

Do people really by aftermarket parts to make things look pretty?!?

Color me stupid! I only get something aftermarket for performance or utility.
