i have a 1984 k10 blazer and it needs a new fuel tank. what is the best diesel tank and sending unit that i can buy for it and does anybody know if the 40 gallon that fits in the suburbans will fit in the blazers too

HMMM! Are you sure its a 40 gal tank? My 89 V Blazer had a 32 gal tank(gas) ditto for my 91 Suburban(again gas) I don't really know how a 40 gal tank could fit there to be honest with you,and I hate to send you to any scrap yard for more headaches;but I do know that in your area any custom tank work is possible for a reasonable price:less than $500 anyway! Make some calls...

 

my suburban had that 40 gallon tank. kinda funny if you put like 20 bucks in there the gauge didnt move.but im not sure if its the same, it looked the same, google around im sure someone has done it. dont forget you will need the sending unit for that 40 gallon tank as its deeper and bigger straps if you go that way
