Default Keyless remote??

Should a 1999 Blazer LS originally have a key-less remote system. When I bought this Blazer used, I only received the keys, and didn't realize that maybe there was a remote originally. If there was one, do I have to go to a Chevy dealer to get a spendy new one?

I got a key fob from a salvage yard for $15. They are on ebay too.

Great! I have a "AUO" code in the box. If I can find a FOB at a salvage yard, how do I re-program it?

The FCC ID number needs to match on the key fob and the keyless module.

keyless module on your truck should be located behind the passenger or driver kick panel.. I think. Then search ebay for your year truck and match the numbers
