Let me show off a true Survivor 1989 S10 Blazer Tahoe
So I recently picked up this very clean blazer.
4x4 4.3 auto 78k miles. 100% rust free. Perfect interior.
Story goes, an Orthodontist bought it new for his son to drive. This son drove it for a couple years. His father then bought a summer house up on the lakes in Michigan with one of his friends. They kept it at the Michigan house to use when either family was there vacationing during the summer. The original owner passed away roughly 5 years ago so the friend took ownership of the blazer and brought it back to his Ohio home where I purchased it. It has 78k miles on it now. I have a 2010 service receipt from the dealership that sold it new showing the mileage was 75k at that point.
I look for any type of survivor like this. It’s a complete time capsule. Everything works, Ac was converted to r134 and blows cold. Every single thing works on it. And it has that perfect smell. (Reminds me of my great grandmothers sunbird!)
i will ask, since I am no blazer expert, what’s your guys opinion on worth? I know everyone including me hates that question. I know ‘classic’ 4x4 values are climbing. Take a look at the pictures. I’ll try to post more when I take them.

Wow - incredible find.

That reminds me of the 2000 zr2 with 10500 original km on it. Extremely clean and absolutely no dust on any of the paint.
That is one nice blazer. Show room quality. How' the underbelly?
edit:
I believe that he sold the s10 for around 10k

I noticed it also has a G80 Locking Diff. Very nice.

Underbelly is in great shape.

With it being a first gen...one could definitely make some money on it. Might be sitting on it for a while, but a buyer will come along who will be willing to pay enough. What about an online auction? Mecum needs to do an SUV auction.
