For Oregon our only laws regarding lift is nothing taller than 14" at it's highest point, and head lights may not be more than 54" off the ground. Thats it. no drop hitches, no mud flaps, nothin'... just like God intended for lift. :icon_teeth:

heres a write up (down and dirty) on most states <-- not set in stone, but there it is.

Nope! Didn't work I don't think. Although maybe in one of the States. ARB make awesome "Roo Bars". I popped into their shop in a little town near Perth when I was there - man they make beautiful brushguards which are now all airbag compatible & have winches built in like it was meant to be part of the truck - whatever make.

Tongue in cheek I asked if they make one for a Blazer (knowing the only Blazers imported to Aussie went to Queensland) and got all excited when the guy said yes. Turned out to be for the older Silverado & also the Tahoe. :( LOL

I was told by my Dad in NH that off road lights need caps over them, but wide tires are not a big deal as long as you don't drive like an ass. Lifts are also not governed.

Oh.. found this very long winded road laws document for NYS. Brew some coffee, it's a very long read; http://public.leginfo.state.ny.us/LA...4+&TARGET=VIEW

Those would be sweet to have. Rather pricey I'm sure. If they had'em for the s10 that is.

ive heard of somewhere where supposedly its illegal to have a ball mount in your receiver if your not towing something, my ranger has a 2" ball on a std straight ball mount most of the time, in winter months it has a big pintle hook (for pulling out other vehicles) the blazer has a 2" ball on a solid straight drawbar pretty much all year long, i do pull it out on ocassion to lube it. ON EDIT: here is where i found that info about hitch receivers--> http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/88...hitch-law.html

I've heard that too. I don't know anyone ever busted or harassed by the cops for it though.
