Default lifting and bigger tire tips

I am thinking about jacking up my blazer. since this is my first car,i dont know nothing about lifting one. so i have a few questions:

1. how much would a 2 in body lift and 31 in tires cost?( only 17 so i want as cheap as i can get but i want good quality too.)

2. would a 2in body lift make a big difference, apperance wise?

3.is it hard to install a lift by yourself?

im just looking for ideas and help with lifting my blazer.

Lots posted about lifts etc in here. Search is your friend, you'll find lots of info.
You get what you pay for & do not crank the T bars more than 1.5" or more $$$ is out of pocket for hubs etc.

2" body lifts are around $200 - $250. Look up "Performance Accessories" or "BDS" for body lifts for these trucks. Tires would set you back anywhere between $900 - $1300 depending on the brand and quality of tires.

2" BL, a mild T-bar crank and maybe some shackles, and then the new tires would definitely make a difference appearance wise.

I've bought the Performance accessories 2inch body lift for 210 plus 90 dollars shipping then customs charged me 50 dollars. Bought 2 inch shackles for 50 dollars shipped, all free instalation since I did it myslef and got a buddy to do the allignment for me. Shackles and torsion bar crank took probably about an hour, body lift took about 6 hours. Looked excellent after I was done, the only thing I haven't got yet was bigger tires but I'm working on it, pictures are in my profile.

My wife got my 2in BL and my 31x10.50-15 kuhmo M/T for less than 900. Tires from discount tire and BL from JC Whitney. Research and more research will be your best friend. Not trying to be an A## but many of your questions will be already answered. On this forum. Trust me I have spent hours researching. For tires paint.SAS etc. Good luck and welcome from TN
