Default few small issues

both of my electric mirrors no longer work and can barely move them manually, no other issues really. just the mirrors, especially my driver side mirror, it rattles while in idle.

Did you try replacing the switch? Happened to mine. Replaced that also with one on eBay from a wrecked Blazer. The switch is black and my other switches are grey, but it works and that is all that counts. Water probably shorted the original switch out.

Cool Where to start!

I have many of the 'normal issues' as well as some others. I own a '96 2dr S-10 Blazer 4.3l 2wd with 173,500 and 2 body cancer spots I'll fix this summer.
Here's my list:
Drivers side door spring cracked in half and fell out, about a month later the hinge pin decided to fall out when I opened the door and it just kinda hung there and bounced a couple of times trying to bend the lower hinge. It reminded me of a local junk yard comercial. Driver side seat lever craked off 4 or 5 years ago (still have it in the door pocket along with the broken door spring). I've replaced the ignition switch(thats a fun one). Front ball joints(aftermarket joints were way better constructed). Passenger side auto lock has been broken for as long as I can remember but the lock still works manually. When I make a right turn the left side speakers loose half or all of their sound, when I turn left they come back on full(gotta be the wiring but haven't found it yet). Been through 2 waterpumps, 3 alternators and a fuel sending unit and pump. No other major engine/trans work other than when I had to pump it out after I hydro locked it. The infamous rear window squeak, of course. The headlights are almost visible to me at night. When the lights are on at night you can notice the heartbeat of the engine as the lights get brighter and dimmer and brighter and dimmer. I have had some real headaches with this thing, but I will drive it until I can't fix it anymore. I love my Blazer.

I have the same problems with my dash squeaking, and my rear wiper doesn't work whatsoever. The car wash ripped it down and the wiper was hanging down below the support arm.... fun stuff huh?

Holy Crap. I just found this site as I'm looking for answers to ANOTHER problem with my 1999 Blazer. I read through this thread mostly LMAO with all the problems that these POS's have. I've had most of them, granted I've had mine for 10 years. Here goes...

Oil cooler lines 2 or 3 times
Intake gasket
Ball joints, at least twice
recliner handles, both sides
spark plugs are a joy to change
door hinge bushings
wiper/cruise/turn switch
heater core - havent changed that basterd yet, read the manual and $hit my drawers after reading I had to take out the dash, but it's par for the course. Nuthin is easy on these things
idler arm
fuel pump
starter - isn't that one fun!
cargo cover kept falling off from it's perch when I went over bumps, finally threw the thing away

That's all I can think of for now. I'm sure there's more.

Default 1991 S-10 Blazer

OK so i just got mine, she's 20 years old and pretty much all original so not in perfect condition, and here are the little things i first noticed need attention:
-Seals around windows are splitting with age.
-The side windows are the dodgy sliding ones and they're not designed for English weather so a bit leaky. Therefore, there's moss growing in all the ploughs of the seals and on the seal between the two pains of glass in each one and the back seat armrests are spotted with stains from the rain.
-the heater level only goes up half way and jams there.
-the seals on the inside bottom of the electric windows vanish on one side into the door on both doors.
-the tailgate window pistons are slack. they dont hold it up anymore.
-i had to glue the rear view mirror back on.
-all the door fabric has got fluffy.
But the steering wheel rubber is fine!
