Look what I parked next to...

It's nice looking, for a cross-over. I'd never take it to the woods. It has no clearance at all.

Now I see that Chevy is going to introduce a 'Trailblazer' in a year or so. This will also have a 4 cyl. turbo engine. I don't see the GM corporate strategy thinking when they already have a new Blazer and the existing Equinox SUV. The Equinox comes with a 4 cylinder FWD or AWD ? Isn't another FWD /AWD 4 cyl. SUV crowding out their current product line ? I think they should come out with a SUV smaller than the Tahoe /Yukon in RWD or 4WD based on the Chevy Colorado/ GMC Canyon. Meaning an SUV with a body on frame platform, not another unit body SUV.

I can only think they want to appease the market (they are in it for the money) which appears to want a more utility-ish vehicle that is AWD but also comfortable to drive; think variations on the CR-V, RAV-4 but with a variety of up-scale options.

Unless it is body-on-frame and has 4-lo, it is not a full-fledged SUV. (2wd Blazers are almost fledged SUVs )
