Default It looked dirty.

So here's a couple pictures I have of being bored and pulling things apart.

I'd just like to know I'm not alone. How many of you do this? Pull things apart just cause it looked dirty. No problems. Nothing broken.

It just looked dirty.

Stories and pictures are encouraged.

Was waiting for my girlfriend to come over so I decided to pull my dash apart and clean it. Would have gone farther but I didn't have that much time. Wiped it real good with an oil based spray cleaner I had laying around.

Was under my hood with my new tool set one day. Just looking for things to pull apart. Pulled the intake off and was playing with the throttle. I caught a glimpse of underneath it and thought, "Well hell, I can't drive around with all that carbon there!"

Yeah pull things apart to clean, re-adjust, move or route better. I see something & hmmm this could be better/smarter/look cleaner routed this way etc. Especially after seeing someone elses vehicle that has something you have or something you're going to get. You come up with different ways of going about it. Ways to clean something or clean/protect.
Meguiars Natural Shine Luster is what I just started using on my tires & vinyl. Looks really nice & doesn't add that high gloss on the tires I especially hate. Just a deep, dark luster that repels dust (for a bit anyway, only so much it can do). On the vinyl it shines a bit & is kinda slick so think about where you use it.

I'll pull the MAF & clean it for chits n giggles but mine is hauling in a lot more air than stock, same with the air filter.
Fuken Wax is awsome on chrome!! (that's Fuken with 2 dots over the U, google it)
Removes surface rust spots, tar, grime, bugs etc & protects the surface while adding a nice shine. I use it on my center caps & am amazed!

I would have to do a complete frame off restoration using your logic of taking things apart just because they look dirty...lol
