Default Looking for a tow hitch

Im looking to buy a tow hitch off ebay, since im in australia no one here sels any thing like and would not be able to match the the price to build one, these are the two i have in mind:

Draw Tite 65004 Trailer Hitch Front Mount Receiver | eBay

75079 Draw Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver Blazer Jimmy Bravada | eBay

The problem i have is that the second one seems to sit a lot lower than the first one, i would prefer the first one for the extra weight and it just looks a lot better built (although there both from the same manufacturer), any one know if they both sit below the bumper or do i need to do some trimming with the heavier one?

Obviously i dont really have the option to send it back if its the wrong one so if anyone can help me out on this it would be greatly appreciated.

that first one is for the front of the vehicle and the second one looks like a normal rear mounted one thats why the front one looks like it will sit so far up

DOH, really should have read the ebay title, "front mount receiver" really should have told the story but i have never thought of putting one on the front lol.

Thanks for the pic rexazz2, is that ball behind the plate the factory hitch? i have read about these but this is the first i have seen, will double check that mine does not have one.

Almost looks like the holes wont line up with mine, here is a pic of the inside of mine

Untitled | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

There are 2 holes near the spring (one you cant see in the pic) but no others for the front two, i guess there might be some drilling required although the ad says it uses existing holes.

the rust ball behind the plate is mounted on the factory step bumper
the hitch mounts threw the factory bumper bracket bolt holes , mine is a 2dr so the fuel tank probably blocks any photos
here is another pic of the step bumper hitch
I will see if I can take a picture of the mounts

here are some more pics
A better shot of the step bumper

this is a pic of the mounting bolts on the left side
The rectangular plates are reinforcement
Note the holes in relation to the very rear body mount
If I remember correct the two plates one above the other are plated together with the factory bolts

Is that step where the ball is a different bumper for ones with the factory tow hitch?

Mine does now have that section it is completely flat where your's is at the top with a cut out under it to mount the number plate.

I dont think i have the factory one, could not see anything under there that looked like a mount for a ball.

it is a factory bumper , possibly an option
the receiver hitch is similar to a factory hitch

I bought it with just the bumper hitch
I brought my camper home with it but don't trust it to do heavy pulls

post a picture of the back of yours
