where is the map sensor on a 1997 jimmy 4.3 any one have a pic of where this is ? Also same question for tps

also on side note is the map supposed to be lose in there like you can wiggle it ?

yea you can wiggle it a little, its just a rubber boot holding it in. if it is very loose, like you can pull it out very easily or you hear a vacuum leak comming from there then i would go to the local junkyard and get a used one. new costs about $70. so yea, a little wiggle is normal.

thats a canister purge valve for the evap caniester. some call it a Canister Purge Solenoid.
