On the way home from school I drive in excess from 95 + now that I have th govenor off and i have no problems at all. In fact the ride is way smoother then going 65.

I've never had stability issues. In fact, itis a lot more stable thanour Envoy andSilveradogoing 70mph. I'm sure if it was lifted slightly like yours it would make a big difference.

 

i justed lifted it this morning and i havent yet driven it on the highway.after driving around town, the ride doesnt really feel any worse

 

I know the study took into account deaths by rollover, but think about this. How many other of the top 10 deadliest vehicle have a lowered Xtreme version like the Blazer and S10 whose drivers think they're fast because of the X-package? It would be interesting if they broke down the Blazers into 4X4 and Xtreme categories...

 

IMO the studies are done to there satisfactory needs. They have always put the blazer out there as a death trap to sway people not to buy the best dang vehicle out there imo. The people who do the stats probably drive honda's, and just sit in parking lots all day, there such a joke. [sm=chairshot.gif]

 

Around the mountainous interstate-68 I felt more like my 89 was going to take flight at 95. Exploding comes later.

 

Your stability will also have a lot to do with what kind of tires you have. My BFGs fell really sticky as compared to my Goodyears I had.TheGYs liked to sway.
