My blazer decided to blow a oil line from the 4x4 oil relocation system. Started her up this morning,got going down the road and smelled something burning,looked down at my temp gauge,looked over at my oil and it was dropping under 20. I slammed the brakes,jumped into the center lane and shut her off. AAA towed it home and i replaced the hose. She sounds fine,still holds good pressure...but man...that scared the poo out of me. I panicked more then when i blew a rad hose on my dodge.



PLease s10 blazer,survive this. I promise if you do il wash you everyday. Im worried about the crank bearings etc running dry,i dont think they did,but hopefully im safe. I remember now why im so ocd about staring at my gauges.

 

You'll be fine. These are tough engines.

LOL its a love hate relationship. If i can score me a 2wd,or trade it for a shortbed chevy truck i'll sell it.
