Default My Blazer is running "Rich"????

So I went to my local garage today due to my mpg being so bad and I got some interesting news. The mechanic said that my Blazer is running rich and he can't seem to find out why because he said it can be many things. He asked me if my car has been driving "sluggish" and it def. has been lately. Its been acting sluggish in the morning. He told me I could leave it over night and he can hook it up to the computer in the morning to see what's going on with it when its cold out. He then said it might be a sensor that its making the car think its extremely cold when its not. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

My bet is that when he scans it he got a P0172 &/or a P0175 ... running rich on the left & or right banks.
There are postings in the DTC part about what could cause these readings... I Nknow, mine has them too. I'm going to get the O2 sensors checked

I was thinking the same thing about the o2 sensors but they said they checked them and they are working fine
