i have no idea what or where the wires go. i cant get ym hand to reach all the way up there. does anyone have any ideas?

it was like that when i bought it . ima take another look at it tomarro see if i can get better info for everyone

can it be for the encoder motor for the transfer case ?

i have no honest idea. thats y im posting it on here :] but its 1 am here and everyone is asleep so i dont wana wake them up just to go take a second look at it so yea

The picture shows the front axle gio...

Can you follow the wires back to someplace? They look way too large to be stock unless they are the wires going to the AIR pump that is just in front of the front axle below the radiator in that general area. That should have a 10ga wire running to it for power.

But yeah, that's not a suitable splice job for sure.
