Default Need new headlights! HELP!!!

Well, I can't stand my headlights anymore. The suck ***. Even the brights are crap. People go on about Sylvania, but I'm not sure cause the seem to have a high fail rate. I was thinking some Hella off roads would be nice, but I have a 96 and the casing for the bulbs isn't clear like new cars, so would buying new bright lights even affect it much? Me and a buddy were thinking about getting some hella off road fog lamps. They aren't gonna be exactly fog lamps, but like the big circle ones thats are really bright. But I would get rectangular cause it would fit that car better. He thinks he knows which ones to get that would send a brighter light farther. Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome.

Off road lamps are for off roading. Used on the street they will blind oncoming traffic. What you need are driving lamps. They should be mounted low on the bumper to supplement your headlamps. Check your State laws about where they can be located. Also some States have regulations on how and when they can be used. But for the most part you'll be safe mounting them, and aiming them correctly.
