i have pretty much all you said accept the rims but I'm going to get those for christmas and a cowl hood doesn't really do much for me

they are pretty sweet but thats one of the lower things on my list I want.

Ben, what build are you going for? Moderate lift with moderately sized larger tires and some 'flash' bolted on?

Aww man I want a crowl hood too. I dont really want to pay $300 for a bump on my hood, then have to get it painted too. Oh well, I'll keep watching Kijiji and locally, I'm sure a cheap one will pop up one day.

i want to have like 31's with some offset rims i dont really want anything high up. i want it to have like a zr2 look but nothing like completely redneck

You could probably fit 31's under your truck as it stands now (assuming it's as it is in your sig pic).

yep. first snow today took it for a spin on top of the mountain

What do you have done? Just a 2" BL? If so I don't see why you couldn't squeeze some 31's under there. You'll have rubbing at full lock, but you should be able to fit them. Have you ever tried?

I went through the same back and forth rational for a long time. Then I was buying a factory hitch from a guy on Craigslist who had the "bump on his hood' after seeing one in person I had to do it.
