Default New exhaust tip

Just had this done today.

Bought the tip earlier in the week & had the chrome sanded down & powdercoated black, then had the exhaust guys weld it in the new position.

Thanks. The exhaust has bugged me for nearly 3 years now. Never like it looking brown & pointing at the dirt. The idea of a chrome tip doesn't fit my truck - gotta go black! LOL

Very nice! It even would have looked good in chrome, but black looks sleek. It's all about the details!

LOL I'm all for the blacking out as you can see, but they weren't selling me on the stainless black chrome tips at the muffler shop.

Looks good Ken!

I actually cut mine off tonight (to get rid of the chrome ) and it seems a lot quieter inside now. Did you notice any sound difference with the new tip?

I cut off about 16-18 inches so I guess maybe with less weight hanging off the back, the exhaust hangers aren't wobbling/vibrating as much...

Dirrerent is what it's all about! For 2 reasons:
1. There are quite a few Blazers running around in this far away place & they're all the same. The only mods that get done are Bling Bling wheels & maybe US /Euro tail lights.

2. There are MILLIONS of Blazers in the US / Canada with lots of opportunity to do mods. My only option is really the little (hopefully subtle) difference to make mine stand out from the crowd - without spending ridiculous amounts of money & then down the line still not be able to sell it on.

OF COURSE I start with the steering on the RIGHT side & I've got fender flares - two of which options are not available to you guys LOL

Strangly of course are the tail lights - You guys want the 4 bulb ones I've got, and I've now got the ones you've got - but that's because I want to be different here as well as there! LOL

But then I'm a strange person! LOL. Ask anyone here they all think I'm mad - even the Chevy guys who do my service & repairs!
