Ok, well not really, but the first time I've taken pictures. For those of you who belong to PETA, I don't care.

Enjoy:

NICE!!! But yea, screw PETA. The deer is already dead.

Last year I had my buck hanging just like that... from my kids swingset!

They are elk, we ended up getting five elk and one deer on this year's hunt. I've made jerky out of deer before but not elk. My wife likes the elk meat too much to make jerky out of it.

I've never had elk before, but I've heard it's good... I like deer, but I prefer moose.

Side Note: I still have to have a feed of all the grouse I got this year.

First thing my wife cooked up once we got the meat in the freezer! Then a big pot of spaghetti with the ground and tonight some delicious elk burgers. At the rate we are going, we'll be out of elk meat before next hunting season.

that just gives you a better excuse to bag some more next season.

your 2nd shot shows the benifits of having a tg, & not the lift.

not to jack your thread AJ, but has anyone tried Bear?

I had bear years ago and didn't like it, too greasy for taste. Same reason I don't like duck, though I love to hunt them!
