new gas tank

Default new gas tank

just left my blazer at the dealer......i need a new gas tank. I'm paying $350 including labour and replacement of w/e lines need replacing. Gas tank rotted through on top....is this a fair price for this job??

sounds like a good deal. dropping the gas tank can take a while (well probably not for them) and i don't imagine gas tanks are cheap. so sounds pretty good

ok gas tank installed $350 the very next morning i see drip drip drip......fuel leaking out so i had to spend another 3.5 hours at the shop they dropped the tank and realized the clamp was loose on top....to hell if im paying for that...no charge gas tank fixed, but i noticed someexcess oil under my truck i think its just from when they took the driveshaft out gear oil comes out too i think right?

no need to remove the drive shaft to replace the gas tank.

i guess they figured it would be easier to put the new one in with it out
