Nice find...

Couple of things, that version is not designed as a push guard, as in it wont handle the weight of pushing a vehicle, let alone you dont have the rubber protection.

The height is set by the design and bracket locations. They are designed to protect the top of the hood from deer, so you can still open the hood.

It's been a few weeks but I finally got some time to finish adjusting the brushguard and mounted some Hella 500FF's. It's too dark now for pictures but tomorrow for sure. Any tips on wiring for the Hellas would be greatly appreciated, bought mine used so no instructions .
Thanks!

Ok, the finished product! Bought some alluminum plate at Lowe's and made some "L" brackets to mount the lights to and got exerything straight. Looks 100% better than before haha.

That looks great! I like the L bracket idea. I might have to convert.

Yeah, I just used the pre-existing holes and then basically cut, and bent em! Then i took a wire wheel to them and matched to the brushguard. I'm happy with it

Thanks, I still need to get them wired up. Haven't had any time and when I do, it's so hot outside that it's not even worth the effort haha.

Look good! Have you already think to paint it black?
