I live in Spring Hill TN where they used to make the saturn. I was yes a Gm kid dad retired a few years ago before the plant closed. A family friend that is working in the plant said that they will annonce in dec or jan that they are gonna start production of the new S-10. So mabey the blazer will make a come back too.

That is the rumor flying around the plant.

 

Perhaps the replacement for the Colorado and/or Canyon, but I doubt it will carry the S-10 name. There hasn't been any such name rumor show up on GM Inside News Forum.

 

That's whats going around here. The plant is still making a engine right now. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

 

Would be nice to see the return of the S10 with a v8 option.

 

If they had a new Blazer it'd be my next vehicle.

 

I have not heared any rumers about that at the dealership that I work at but now I am curious. I will have to ask the trainers and area reps. when they come in.

 

Nope! Not heard anything here in New Zealand either! Unless it's the Holden Captiva! LOL

 

I think the Spring Hill plant is being re-opened to build Ecotec motors.
