Default Non-push button 4wd

My 95 has the little stick for the 4wd, not the push button, and I love it! I don't have to worry about it not working!! I've been searching around the net for a Blazer for my gf--since she likes mine so much--and all I can find are the push buttons. My mother and her bf both have 01's and they have the push button 4wd setups. How rare are the non-push button setups? Come to think of it I've never seen a stick 4wd setup like mine in person--EVER! Are there alot out there? I'd really prefer to find a setup like mine for her. I've had my truck for 7-8 yrs and the only 4wd issue I've ever had was the small 4wd cable snapping, luckily it snapped when I put it back in 2wd mode. What years were the non push button setups available?

I've wondered the same thing. I think it was the "Country Boy Edition!" J/K

But seriously though, there was a website that had info for GMs based on VIN and it was a very, very low number that was made with a manual case. Kind of cool.

RPO code NP2 is what it has as an option. (located on the white tag in the bottom of the glove box)

I had a 91 Sport model, 2dr. That truck was badass! I only traded it in because that year used bad primer and the paint was peeling bad! It was sort of electric blue--it was a really nice blue! Was fantastic in the snow--and it also had the 4wd stick. Didn't all the 1st gens have the stick?
I'm still looking for a 2nd gen 4wd stick setup.

Yeah, my '96 has the manual shift in it. I like it better than the push-button, because like you said, less problems!

And the vin decoder someone was talking about in an earlier post in this thread was Comp Nine, but they have closed down permanently.

So does anyone know if there's alot of manual 4wd setups on the board? I'd like to find another one for my gf.
