Default not sure what to do

i bought a billet bow tie for the front of my blazer, not a big upgrade i know, but i like them and think it will look better, i am debating on painting the recessed part on it the same color as my blazer. im not sure if it will look good or it will look kinda cheap and hurt the look. haven't seen it done before so im not sure. what do you guys think? leave as is or try the paint?

is say paint away. its those little touches that really put your mark on it. not a real big fan of bolt on exterior upgrades unless you can make it your own.

i think it would look good no matter what you did with it, I personally would paint it myself.

you could always paint the gold plastic one thats on there now and if you dont like the look, put the silver one on. either way you do it, i think it will look better than the gold

Paint is easily removed from metal..... without marring it up. Paint it the way you are thinking, see if ya like it, if ya don't, strip the paint. If it is clearcoated, that is way easy to reapply.
