Angry now this is a head scratcher!!

two weeks ago i buy a low milage 4.3 for my dads blazer after all the cussing removing the old one this thing fell into place like nothing..... then we go to get this thing to run and OMG!!! read every single post in here and thought theres no way that this injection spider is bad well guess again no leaks the fn thing rusted the ends shut and the poppets were inop!!!! just fyi for you all dont take the low mileage thing as a gimme for anything unbelieveable crappy design!!

So you need new injectors? You also didnt specify year ranges..... :/

rusted shut? wow, that thing must have been sitting a long time, you better give it a REAL good look over. Reality, low mileage= not driven much= problems.

Sitting for a long time. That's what I thought too - sitting & not properly stored. Most junk yard low mileage vehicles have not been fogged to save the internals, injectors etc. They're insurance comapny write offs.
Was it a wrecker yard engine?

Good point to make & something for others to think about when they consider buying from a wrecker or someone that can't tell them how lonng it's been sitting.

the sad thing is that usually low miles vehicles are bigger turds then normal or high mileage vehicles. everything rusts, rots, and leaks from sitting
