Default OBD port connection problems

OBD2 scanner port will not connect to scanner when plugged in ..any ideas ..may be fuse or something else where is the fuse for this problem..

Hey, the fuse for the OBD port is the fuse for the cigarette lighter I'm pretty sure. Might be worth checking that. I'm guessing your scanner is getting no power at all?

I went to auto zone to see what the codes was when the light went on and he us d two code scanners and both could not connect .. but I'm a truck driver so I can't just go out and check on it. I have been reading up on this forum it's got to be the best ace for total perfect info for any one. I don't smoke so I haven't checked the cig lighter plug yet and tks for helping everybody out with problems. I'm glad I found this forum. I don't have a scanner yet to check it myself .
