Default Part-time 4WD SFS donors?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I've found discussions about donor vehicles with solid front axles, but no mention of the type of engagement...so I'll ask it here. I'd like to explore the possibility of a SFA but would like to retain the push button/vacuum activation without having to get out and lock hubs. Does anyone know of any specific solid front axle donor vehicles with adequate (not sticking out 12" from each fender, although it would look cool!) front axles to fit 2nd Gen Blazers (i.e. 1996) that have part-time 4WD (cable engaged front axle / no locking hubs) to essentially retain (with some modification of course) the push-button 4WD setup in our beloved Blazers. I'm not looking for anything super heavy duty, just something that will hold up better than the current CV shaft/ sealed hub set-up. Thanks!

pretty sure a explorer doesnt have locking hubs but im not sure on its engagement. I know the 94+ dodges have a vacuum engagement front axle (well for 1 tons at least) but im not sure, any older ford or chevy should have locking hubs, but i think first gen dodges have automatic hubs, friends dad said his 91 does
