Hoy all,
I've been trying to decode my '01 VIN. I no stranger to decoding since I own two vintage Firebirds. I've searched with no luck with the manufacturing plant code. Does anyone have a list of the plant codes? Thanks

VIN Position 11 (VIN Derivative position 3) - Plant Location:
K - Linden, NJ
8 - Shreveport, LA
2 - Moraine, OH
X - E.E.M.S.
Not sure what E.E.M.S. is. I think this is what you were inquiring about.

Turns out I got a Jersey girl (K).
I was hoping for it to have come from the Moraine plant. I use to deliver plate glass to the Dayton metro area, and I would drive past the plant twice a week.
