tail lights? how will people know that you are stopping than? otherwise, it holds up pretty well, its a rubberized coating, so its not as prone to chipping as paint would be.

They sell a Plastidip smoke for taillights/headlights.

It holds up great on rims, have had it on my accord rims for about 2 years now with no issues and I take it through the car wash on a semi montly basis. I have no idea about the tailight smoke, never used it.

As long as you put it on thick enough it's easy to get off, it's when you put it on thinner that it's tough because instead of just peeling up when you pull it off it breaks apart as your pulling it.

Default Plasti-Dip

I saw that they have come out with a solvent that loosens it up so it comes off easy in hard to reach spots...

Cool 'Tis Be Awesome to Me

This thread, specifically LilJoe54, inspired me. IDK if it's bad forum etiquette to post my thread link on here, but you can see what PlastiDip did for me. and I agree with the OP, this stuff is awesome. My dad is now inspired to touch up his car. Thanks for this thread!

Here is my thread on PlastiDipping the rear window trim.
