Default Popping sound on the front passenger side

2002 s10 blazer 4x4 is making a popping sound under a lite load around 30 mph only when traveling. I do have a slight lifter tick on that side. Won't do it under load parked . Could it be a backfire through the intake because of the lifter or through the exhaust? Timming is good.

There is a known problem with the hood hinges that can make this sound so I would rule that out.
